This adapter is a conversion done using a Griffin Gate-Lok blast shield.   It is 1.4735-20 (1-7/16 20) D-Cell thread compatible.

Protrusion into tube is 3/4″, adapter weight is 5.1 ounces

Gate-Lok may not fit all A2 style muzzle devices; ensure that your muzzle device has 5.56mm flash hider rear notch dimensions and an OD not larger than .8610″
