ECCO Machine offers recoring services for all production (Form 4) and Form 1 suppressors. We can employ both serviceable and fully welded non-serviceable core designs, as well as tubeless recores, although not all suppressors have all core type options available due to their construction.
The price range for recoring is highly variable, but we are generally able to ballpark pretty accurately if you can tell us the length, inside diameter and whether it will be optimized for subsonic/low pressure or high velocity cartridges. Most recores end up somewhere between $300-$500. Some small rimfire cans will be closer to $200, and then jobs like tubeless fully titanium recores that are fairly long can go north of $800.
If you are inquiring about recoring services, we need to know the following to answer option & cost questions:
–If a current production suppressor, the make, model, length & caliber, and whether it will be optimized for subsonic/low pressure or high velocity rifle rounds.
–If an out-of-production or Form 1 silencer, we need to know tube outside diameter, inside diameter (if possible), length, caliber, tube material (if known) and whether it will be optimized for subsonic/low pressure or high velocity rifle rounds.
Photographs are also always helpful, especially if we’re dealing with damage.
We will not respond to single sentence “how much for a recore?” messages.
